René Trost
Chief Executive Officer and President

René Trost is an accomplished senior executive with over twenty years  of diverse global management experience  in both public and private businesses in analytical instruments, life science and medical device.
His broad background includes responsibility for operations, business development, sales and marketing areas. He has a reputation for building and leading strong multidisciplinary teams and has particular expertise in guiding the development and commercialication of new technologies.
Prior to joining Reha Technology AG in early 2011, René acted as Interims Manager for several companies in Life Science and Medical Device business. Before, until 2008, Rene Trost served over 15 years  for Dionex Corporation (Nasdaq :  DNEX), later aquired by Thermo Fisher, in several positions as Applications chemist, Sales representative,  Country manager for Switzerland,  European Director and Vice President Europe. In this position, He increased the revenue in Europe from 45 Million $ in 2000 to 130 Million $ in 2007.
René Trost holds a master degree in Analytical chemistry from the University of Bern, Switzerland and a bachelor in radiochemistry from the university of Karlsruhe, Germany.  He got a Executive MBA from IMD , Lausanne Switzerland.

Christoph Grolimund
Vice President Finance

Christoph Grolimund is a financial professional with many years experience in accounting financial management, controlling and and corporate process development.
Prior to Reha Technology AG, Christoph served for many small and mid-sized companies as financial specialist.
Christoph holds degrees from several institutions for accounting, tax consulting, auditing and controlling.

Dr. Christopher Tomelleri
Vice President Scientific Support

Christopher Tomelleri is a bioengineer responsible for the scientific state of the art of Reha Technology's products since 2007. His role as Chief Scientific Officer is to  lead the activities of the company's Scientific Advisory Board.
His scientific interests belong to the clinical application of robotics in neurorehabilitation, biomechanics, movement analysis and combined treatment approaches of robotics and transcranial current stimulation. His work is indexed in the Medline as well as in the IEEExplore libraries.
Besides his role as CSO for Reha Technology, he is teaching Instrumental Movement Analysis at the LFH Claudiana, with affiliation to the University of Ferrara, Italy. He is further involved in the European COST Action TD1006 "Robotics in NeuroRehabilitation" as italian representative and is member of the Research Unit for NeuroRehabilitation South Tyrol.
Christopher Tomelleri holds a master degree in bioiengineering and a bachelor degree in biomedical engineering both from the University of Padova, Italy.

Dr. Julius Michael Waldner
Vice President Operations

Julius M. Waldner is Reha Technology’s homegrown operating officer, following all Reha Technology development and production since the establishment of the firm in 2007. He played a chief role during the development (2008), prototyping (2009) and industrialisation (2010) phases of the G-EO robotic medical device and is in charge of production and service quality management.
Prior to joining Reha Technology in 2007, he gathered work experience in GKN Driveline plc, production management, and Ferrari spa, Engine development for GT production cars.
Julius M. Waldner holds a master degree in industrial engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy and a bachelor degree in production engineering from the Politecnico di Torino, Italy. He also holds the DEM-S diploma from the Conservatoire superior de Paris.
